*Job Description:*
- Strong experience in core application development and troubleshooting
and understanding of Web Services and frameworks such as Struts, Spring,
and Hibernate
- Experience with SQL using Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server, and
application services like WebLogic, WebSphere, or JBOSS
- Experience working in an Agile Development – Scrum
- Experience with UML Modeling (Activity Diagram, Class Diagram,
Sequence Diagram, Collaboration Diagram, Use Case Diagram, Deployment
Diagram, etc.)
- Understand J2EE specifications (OOAD, Core Java, Servlets, JSP,
JMS, JDBC, Web Services, XML, JavaScript), object-oriented analysis, with
strong knowledge of design patterns
- Provide high quality technical solutions that align with project
requirements
- Code and successfully perform unit and integration testing of
software to ensure proper and efficient execution as well as
compliance to
the business, security, and technical requirements
- Work with other software engineers to design interfaces between
software applications in order to complete design requirements
- Use system traces and debugging tools for problem determination and
system tuning
- Participate in the migration of applications to quality assurance
and/or the production environment
- Perform necessary production support tasks involving on-call
responsibilities that would involve both during and after work hours
