The NY chapter is pretty good. They offer a wide range of seminars
that are sometimes open to a public. I am a member and I like to go to
the monthly meetings. This past once was on Organized Retail Crime.
The Infosec part of it was light, but you could see the parallels and
was nonetheless interesting.
The folks they get to speak at the chapter meetings here are pretty
good from industry and law enforcement: FBI, DHS, DoD, NYPD
Intelligence, etc.
