In addition to what Tim Mugherini (recently certified with a 94, by the way.
Way to go, Tim! :) said, your other options for this course are vLive,
OnDemand, and Self Study. All three are more economical ways to get the
course without having to travel, and may shave some of the cost. According
to the Salary Survey's I have seen for 2008, the GCIH really doesn't compare
to the CEH in purpose or recognition, or in the purpose of the course. The
GCIH has a fair amount of hacker techniques and malware concepts, but isn't
the same as the GPEN which is probably closer to the CEH. It contains actual
Incident Handling processes that are important (especially for auditors -
they love to see holders of this cert on staff.) SANS training is best, but
I am biased.Maybe one of these options helps?
