So this company appeared on the DC3 digest for the day and I've got to admit, I'm really puzzling over it. The article on CNN made me wonder how they decided to focus on Ligatt. Ligatt's website only increased the the feeling that this couldn't be for real. Now I see a press release from them being highlighted by the DoD Cyber Crime Center.
What the heck? How does a company that sounds this squirrely get to be taken seriously? For those interested, here's the press release that was in today's DC3 email. http://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/g97641/stacy-l-merrell-named-as-ligatt-security-new-president-and-opens-office-in-wash Jason On Fri, Jan 22, 2010 at 8:07 AM, craig bowser <[email protected]> wrote: > Apparently I'm not a real hacker because I read that site four times and I > STILL don't understand what the heck they are selling... > > On Thu, Jan 21, 2010 at 8:34 PM, Aaron Moss <[email protected]> wrote: > >> So after reading some of the site, I am CONVINCED that this is the >> "hacker's" version of The Onion.
