You might want to check out a nirsoft app named USBDeview.  It has ability
to take list of host names and then dump the results of USB devices to
various text file types.  Unfortunately, it grabs **all** USB devices, so
you'll get a lot more that storage drives.  I'm trying to figure out how to
do some filtering to pare that down some.
