The reason I'm looking for something other than the usual ssh tunnel is that my home connection has not been reliable as of late. While I was on the road for the last 4 weeks I had about 5 days where I could get back and then lost connectivity to my place. I'd also prefer a VPN solution so I don't need to go in to every single application I have running and tell it to use a socks proxy (if said app even supports that option). I dug up the last chain regarding this type of stuff and didn't see any free solutions unfortunately. Does anyone know of anything that's free or am I stuck paying a small amount per month?
