This is the one I've used. It's broken up into multiple variables, but
you could combine it if you wanted. It'll still match 0.0.0.0 and
255.255.255.255 though.
$REG0TO255 = '(2([0-4][0-9]|5[0-5])|1[0-9]?[0-9]|[1-9][0-9]?|[0-9])';
$REGIP = $REG0TO255 . '(\.' . $REG0TO255 . '){3}';
