I also second the recommendation for plenty of good hands on practice/experience. I also found the Sybex book to be pretty good.

Jeremy does a great job with those videos. The best though is reading and working the questions in the Cisco Press books I found. Also, make sure you check the tracks and understand exactly which tests are needed for the certification you want to pursue. CCSP is now retired and replaced with CCNP security, and as a result many of the elective exams have been changed/versions modified. You'll also need the CCNA Security if you end up going for the CCNP Security cert. I've found the combination of Cisco Press books, CBT Nuggets, and labbing things up works well. What books would you recommend to prepare for this certification? Thank you once again. Hands on practice, even in a lab or emulated environment, is absolutely key if you want to get good at Cisco security. I have my CCSP and 0 for 2 on the CCIE security lab so far, and I wouldn't be this far along without lots of time spent in the IOS breaking things :-) > > > On Jan 3, 2011, at 8:00 AM, "Subba Rao" <[email protected]> wrote: > >> Hi, >> >> I want to start specializing in Cisco Security certifications.
