Putting into perspective is good. "if you share X information... Someone can use it and do Y".
Sharing location information could make them a target for crimes such as theft, harassment or assault. This could include: -pictures of them in a school or team uniform -GPS information in photo uploads -checkins to 4square -photos of them in recognizable locations Sharing information about their identity could lead to identity theft, fraud or be used to reveal where they are located. -don't share passwords -don't share credit card numbers or other ID related information Hope this helps. Telling people not to share anything is not an option I'm afraid. ;-) > > Thanks for your help. > > Bert > _______________________________________________ > Pauldotcom mailing list > [email protected] > http://mail.pauldotcom.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pauldotcom > Main Web Site: http://pauldotcom.com _______________________________________________ Pauldotcom mailing list [email protected] http://mail.pauldotcom.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pauldotcom Main Web Site: http://pauldotcom.com
