I hate to give away my secret but...last year I stayed across the street at the
Churchill Hotel.  I got a king suite for same price as the Hilton's special
"SANS discount".  And I got them to throw in free internet.  I've stayed at
both and I prefer the Churchill.  It's directly across the street so no
problems making it to at night talks etc...

Subject: [Pauldotcom] Attending SANS Fire 2013

So with the support of my manager and a long write up I was able to convince my
employer to pay for SANS training at SANS Fire 2013.  So I was wondering if it
is worth it to stay at the conference is being held.  the reason I ask is
because i have friends that live in the DC/Metro area so i could catch the
metro to and from the hotel with ease.  And if anyone could give me there
experiences at past SANS Fire conferences that would be greatly appreciated
