On behalf of the Pan Africanist Congress of Azania, I would like to wish you, one and all, a Christmas filled with happiness and joy. This time of the year is usually marred by a high rate of road accidents: seventy per cent (70%) of which is caused by people driving or walking under the influence. In order to emerge from all these festivities unscathed, we need to stay sober all the time. The best way to quench our thirst is to drink water. It is affordable and exceptionally healthy. Let us not spend extravagantly just for one day and struggle financially for the whole year. After wild parties and big spending that Christmas normally generate, there will still be bonds to service, school fees to pay, food and other essentials to buy. Therefore, let's spend thriftily and think of the remaining, rainy days after Christmas. Do not drink and drive. Do not drink and jaywalk. Do not risk your life, and other people's lives through violent behaviour. Wish you a merry Christmas.
