Dear Pan Africanists

I take this opportunity to offer my sincerest condolensces to the Mohloai,
Modiko and the Pan Africanist family on the untimely departure CDE.
Seapei. I had the priviledge of having worked directly with Cde Seapei in
structures of the party particularly in the regional leadership of PAYCO.

The comrade was very committed to the ideals of the party and was indeed a
foot soldier for the Pan Africanist cause. I can confidently say that her
blood and by extension the Modiko family was steeped in the colours of the
party. She selflessly served the community of Sharpeville through her
involvement in community forums like the CPF and for that I will be
eternally grateful to have known a dedicated revolutionary in the mould of
Seapei. In an era when women aren't known for their active role in the
political life of this coutry, Seapei was an exeption to the norm.

It will indeed be befitting her stature(if confirmed) that she be laid to
rest on the historic day (21st) which signalled the abandonement of
peaceful forms of struggle and the birth of the revolutionary programme to
oust the then settler colonialist regime.

May her soul rest in peace

Sello Mampane
