I respond to Cde Ngcukana's response to cde Mashao's reaction to his earlier contribution. I have great respect and admiration for cde Ngcukana and I am certain many young leaders in our movement have been inspired by this great worker leader and revolutionary indeed. I was honoured a weekend ago to seat in one meeting and engage with him and witness him in action. I don't regret the fact that I have looked upon you all these years and emulated some of your tactics within the party and outside to win political battles. As political leaders, particularly distinguished and accomplished cadres of the PAC we should at all times be careful when we express ourselves or act on a particular matter that our behaviour might impress or disappoint people who believe and respect us. The response by cde Ngcukana on Mashao has dissappointed some of us who cannot under any circumstances challenge or undermine the important role played by cde Ngcukana in the party and in the liberation struggle of our people. With your years in the struggle and your groundedness in the ideology of the party I believe you should have learned to divorce yourself from emotions. The best approach of attacking an argument is to be calm and deal with the matter at hand logically to its logical conclusion.. Childish behaviour I find it really childish your call that you should be removed from the google group because you have been engaged in a debate and your point of views subjected to strutiny. This behaviour is in sharp contrast with the disciplinary code of the party and rubbishes your call for a return of the culture of debate within the party. I think it is hightime you refine your language when you speak to your comrades, you cannot continue to call people mosquitos and expect to be respected. Remember son of the soil respect is a two way street. Rest assured we would not remove your name from this network. We would continue to sought advice to you and engage you on ideas. Remember as well that we have been brought up together in the PAC, the only difference is the age and political era. Never distanced yourself from the party. We accept your argument that you have never distanced yourself from the party. We are also certain that you have not been active in party structures not to have realised that the party had been hijacked by anarchist. Mind you,we are aware that you were working with Letlapa towards the elections. We only heard your opposition to Letlapa after elections. We hold no grudges, infact we are grateful to have a committed cde like you on the side of progressive forces who seek to cleanse the party. 1990 & post 1990 Products You are correct, a lot of us who are in PAYCO and PASMA are the new generation. It is not our fault that we were born on the late 70's and only be able to take part in politics in the 90's. We are not ashamed that we started our political careers before or after our political freedom. PAC members should stop self engradisement and give the party glory. In a revolutionary all of us have a role to play. PAC is not a private property of veterans,APLA cadres and former AZANYU leaders. Give us space to make our contribution, and stop undermining and marking us. When are you going to harrass the ANC and support your youth. I attitude There is nothing as dangerous in a revolution as an I attitude. Revolution is a collective task. No individual can claim to have contributed more than any of us in the struggle. This attitude is anti-revolution and foreign in the PAC. Its the ANC that holds such a view hence they uphold Mandela more than the party itself. I believe this self praise you often do,is not winning you supporters in our movement. Let your actions do the job. The least said on this matter the better. Anarchist in the party. No one differs with you on that score, but we want you to be specific and solution oriented. We cannot afford to continue repeating ourselves without prescribing necessary remedy to the problem. Our call is for you to provide solutions to the known problem. Political Education As much as I accept that you are our senior politically and have all the right to point out the need for political education, but I reject that you should use political education to undermine your rivals and to down play their point of view. Political education in the PAC is used by stalwarts and accomplished cadres to escape debate and difficult questions. Matome has been with Progressive forces on the trenches Matome Mashao has been active in the party since he became a member. I don't remember him being a fence sitter. He has been in the thick of things with the party. In the last few years he has been suspended so many times for pushing that the party should occupy the unoccupied leftist Agenda. Matome grew up in the structures of the party like you and has all the right to argue and challenge any member of the party including you. Mashao just like you does not believe that there are any Ayatolas in this movement who cannot be engaged on matters of ideology, policy, strategy and tactics. We continue to respect and admire you and your courage. We are convinced that with you on the side of progressive forces we will win against anarchist. Lets unite and build a strong action against the enermies of our revolutionary party. Yours in socialist revolution. As political leaders, particularly distinguished and

You are correct, a lot of us who are in PAYCO and
PASMA are the new generation. It is not our fault that we were born on the late
70's and only be able to take part in politics in the 90's. We are not ashamed

Anarchist in the

Matome Mashao has been active in the party since he

many times for pushing that the party should occupy the unoccupied leftist

right to argue and challenge any member of the party including you. Mashao just
like you does not believe that there are any Ayatolas in this movement who
cannot be engaged on matters of ideology, policy, strategy and
