I think it is critical for all committed in the cause to cleanse the party of anarchist,rebuild and reposition the PAC to read and familiarise themselves with the Paper developed by cde Cunningham Ngcukana,Reasons for poor perfomance of the PAC in the 2009 Elections. The paper clearly outlines and diagnoses the causes of problems that leads the PAC to its current state of crisis and disaster. I believe we should utilise the document as our springboard going forward.It is extremely critical for all to examine the document and make their contribution to close the gabs and augment the precise analysis made. I hope the analysis made by Ngcukana would be acceptable to all so as to stop reinventing the wheel and repeating the same analysis time and again. I propose this document together with the SWOT analysis of the concerned cadres should be used and adapted as the correct Status QUO analysis of the PAC. Lets stop then repeating this exercise and move a step further. PAYCO IOTA Programme of Action The IOTA programme of action crafted by PAYCO should be examined collectively by all committed Pan Africanist and necessary changes and additions be made and Adopt the Programme as the party programme of action. Lets stop putting faces on documents and initiatives made for the good of the party before we support or disagree. I have witnessed party members dismissing well prepared and ideologically grounded papers in favour of gabbage on the bases of who developed the paper than substance. We should be first and foremost PAC and cease to be members of members. The appoach I am proposing would save us time and enable us to rebuild and reposition the party at a short space of time. I call upon leaders like Ngcukana, Fihla,Siyaya,Pheko,Mashao,Sbusiso Xaba and other party structures to ensure that we are able to get out of this maze that we have been caught into for years,of recylcing analysis that have been excellently made 'cause they have been made by our rivals other than us. DR Gilingwe Mayende's Paper I also call upon all party members to engage the paper developed by DR Gilingwe Mayende(party Intellectual par excellent) should also be merged on the Programme of Action and go to the Convention with one Comprehensive Programme of Action. I call upon Dr Mayende and many party Intellectuals to examine our Programme of Action and make their contribution to augment and beef-up the Programme. As much as I don't believe in quick fix solutions,but I also understand the urgency of the matter at hand hence I call for a fasttrack appoach. If we really want to be a truly socialist party and to be an alternative to the ruling party we cannot afford divisions and wasting of time and resources. Unity of purpose Our unity should be founded on Pan Africanist vision and in building and repositioning the party. We should preach and live unity at all times,at this juncture we cannot afford to be enermies when we have a common enermy and common cause. Lets unite our initiatives,programmes and imputs before the actual seating of the Convention. The Convention should be a real Turning Point in the History of the PAC. Lets converge different views and approaches before the actual seating of the convention and subsequent Conferences and congressess. Lets build One Vision,One Mission and One Future. Role of Veterans Party founding members and stalwarts should take a centre stage in facilitating unity within the party,particularly among progressive forces. We also need them to play a leading role in all party building processess,including the upcoming National Convention. As PAYCO we wish to single out the progressive efforts of party stalwarts like Philip Kgosana, Mark Shinners, Khoisan X and Ike Mofole for their bravery and consistent efforts to rebuild the PAC to its former glory. Conclusion The building and repositioning of the PAC is no longer optional it is a must to all progressive forces. Lets put our hands and shoulders on the deck 24/7 if we really want to save PAC and take over Government. We also don't have a luxury of debating for the love of debating,PAC need radical remedies to survive this storm. Lets emulate the Eagle by rising to the top of the storm and Get PAC going.
