I hope all of us realise the damage the current leadership has caused in the party. They have succeeded to set africanist against each other and structures against each other. Relations between us as members are at the lowest point,which is unacceptable and in contradiction with our disciplinary code and traditions. In the PAC unity and co-operation has always been held high.
As comrades we should desist from labelling each other and looking down upon each other,thats what Mphahlele is ploughing,lets not allow these seeds of factionalism and disunity to germinate in this movement. Let me state it clear from the onset that PAYCO is behind and support the event to be held in Cape Town for the Heroes Day. We are in close contact with the progressive organisers of the event. This event is for the PAC not Mphahlele. We call upon all PAYCO structure,Pasma, APLAMVA and the entire party membership to honour the event. Let me indicate to concerned comrades that whilst we were attending PASMA congress in Cape Town we met the comrades and provincial leadership of western cape,and during our interactions with them we were convinced that they stand for a united PAC and are anti-Mphahlele. Lets also indicate that they also hosted us and provided us with security during our stay in Cape Town. I will expand further on this on my paper to be posted soon titled:Reflections on PASMA Congress. I am certain that disciplined cdes like Tembelani and Sello would appreciate the information provided and review their position on the above matter. Cdes we need to start a process of healing and cleansing our party of factionalism and disunity. I am pleased with the level of discourse that is beginning to reflect in this important network.
