Izwe Lethu Ma-Afrika

It is paramount to alleviate  fears from other Africanists who are willing to
take leadership role in the PAC.  I say so because there are certain
individuals who have begun shivering after suggestions that the party may
introduce the new structure, "politburo". This was just a tentative suggestion.
But just to recall in the PAC presidency starting from Clarance Makwetu to
Letlapa Mphahlele, these former leaders were elected and left to lead the party
without formal advisors.  It is only then we start to lament when they commit
serious destruction in the party.  We must accept the fact that many PAC
members are good in reading and analysing philosophy books but they do not
possess brain-power to lead the revolutionary party such as the PAC.

We have elected these leaders on sentimental basis and thereafter they turn
against what the PAC stands for because they are very much aware that they are
above the party and its members and this is totally wrong.   Currently, it is
the fact that the PAC has no brilliance in the likes of the founding father
Robert Sobukwe. Sobukwe was not only genius but also a visionary and
non-selfish.  The PAC today is charecterised by selfishness and greedness.  It
is for this reason the politburo issue was suggested.  The politburo does not
control anyone in the party but it is a group of party cadres who assess issues
both internal and external and thereafter give accurate advice to the
leadership and members.  The politburo members again, are subject to scrutiny
test.

It will be a  fallacy to continuosly elect leaders and keep on changing them
after they have failed the party. We have to come out with a final principle
which will stabilize the party.  Those who are afraid of the politburo are
mistaken but they will be corrected. Only those with hidden agenda will reject
being advised.  Many communist parties similar to PAC have politburos and they
have survived the wrath of the CIA. That's why communist parties are still in
lead in China, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, etc. In the PAC, we do not want
those leaders who will come, go, and return as the so-called
celebraties.  In a revolution, there are no celebraties but only
revolutionaries.
