Thembeka... I am an academic and I analyse things in context. Mine was to point out what I found offensive at the time and I did not say, even insinuate that I condone anyone's misconduct. All I'm saying is, we have had leaders who have disagreed sharply before but because of their discipline and understanding of human behavior, never resorted to insults and threats when building our movement. I love the Pan Africanist Congress of Azania to bits and would never trade it for anything. I have defended it on platforms where I knew I was threading on dangerous grounds without being apologetic.
I did not quote the PAC founding members comrade, all I did was merely refer to them. These are great people and we should aspire to be the best we can always be. If the members of the PAC agree that everyone in the NEC be charged, let us all charge them but with the dignity and respect that we ought to give to every human being irrespective of the crimes we think they have commited. Hate speeches and threats never build any organisation, all they do is destabilise and divide. I think I need to emphasize that we need serious leadership; people who are qualified to lead in any way. The problem with the PAC we have is this lack in all structures not only in the mother body and as much as we point fingers at others, we should also be as willing to introspect honestly and sincerely so that we can build an organisation based on good gorvenance, honesty, transparency and respect towards fellow Africans. In this way we can be at least a step towards achieving our goals. iAfrika yethu...
