M-Afrika

Something I find missing is that Azanyu was during the mid-eighties
period, roughly between 1986 to 1990, dominant in three regions,
Witwatersrand and Vaal Triangle, Western Cape and Border area of
Mdantsane in the Eastern Cape.
The period was when Molefi Serame was national president, Carter Seleka
general secretary, Ntsie Mohloai deputy president Mawande Jack national
organisor and before Mawande, Joe Pantshwa from the Western Cape, Mpuka
as publicity secretary. Others in that executive were Lee Modiga,
Nhlanhla Lebea,General Nqandela, Mayaya, Vuyani Mbinda and Eddie Bosman.
Ntsie Mohloai only became the president in 1991 following a split in
Azanyu in 1990 caused by differences about the Party's taking part in
negotiations.
There is another important dimension. In 1986 PAC president Zephania
Mothopeng dispatched party stalwarts like Vusi Nkumane, Mehlo Mbali,
Kwedi Mkalipi and Timothy Janties to meet with Azanyu leadership for the
establishment of the Pan Africanist National Front (PANAFRO)to counter
the political confusion caused by the UDF (Charterists) and launch a
massive campaign to popularise the PAC, help launch underground party
structures and prepare for what Mothopeng called "our last lap," in a
form of a massive popular campaign against the settler regime.
Also Paso came into being following Azanyu's resolution at Ipelegeng
Centre in 2007 to launch a national student wing.

Son of the Soil

I met with Lucky on Saturday for the review of the website and i believe
we are both confident that its ready to go.

But we thought it wise that we send the history of PAYCO out for review
before we go live.

So attached here is the history of PAYCO as we have managed to gather
during the process of building the website. Can you please fill in the
missing parts that you may be aware of and also feel free to make any
correction as some of these incident were gather from unverifiable
sources. The aim is not to rewrite the whole day to day history of PAYCO
but we must at least be able to provide an accurate snapshot.

At least by Friday lets complete this process.

Izwe Lethu!!
