To an extend you are correct to say that our content here is public, because the truth is that Google is the owner of every content contributed in all Google platforms including google groups. But we must also understand the context in which this platform was created; i.e. when there was no resources to secure our own facilities and yet a great need for a platform for robust engagements between members. Now, Comrades, two weeks ago when you learned this information; PAYCO launched its own website, with a discussions platform like this; which is then whole owned by PAYCO and not for public consumption as you put it. What is left is for us to move our discussions to our own platform and as PAYCO NEC we have laid the foundation now it is up to members to register on www.payco.org.za and participate in the Members' forum there. And be rest assured comrade, the new platform is wholly owned by us, created by us, managed by us and it is very safe and secured. I look forward to welcoming you Comrades to the new PAYCO website. The few Comrades I then spoke to were agogg with wonder considering the understanding we had that some within us were wise enough to create a platform in which such discussions as have unfolded for the past few years could happen. Is this an oversight or misunderstanding on my part? We are entitled to privacy as an organisation but this is not private. It has been brought to my attention that you can googlre any name that contributes to our discussions and you will get a consolidated and an updated profile of a member's inscriptions on the website.
