The Wholesale and Retail SETA Board has made available funding from its Discretionary Reserves to support 5000 young people in acquiring workplace experience in the Wholesale and Retail sector. The young people that are targeted fall within the following categories: • Young People with Matric Certificates • Unemployed Graduates • Retrenched Wholesale and Retail Employees
The objective of this initiative is to provide funding for 5000 young people to be placed within organizations for a period of 12 months for the purpose of acquiring workplace experience thereby improving their chances of finding permanent employment within the Wholesale and Retail sector. If you fall within the above categories, you are invited to submit an application to the W&RSETA. All applications will be evaluated and the successful applicants will be given an opportunity to enroll in an applicable Wholesale and Retail Learning Programme and paid a learner allowance for 12 months by the W&RSETA. Submission Requirements: 1. Applications must be in the form of a. An introductory letter b. A detailed CV c. A certified copy of the original Matric Certificate or Degree/Diploma. 2.
