HUGO CHAVEZ INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION FOR PEACE, FRIENDSHIP AND SOLIDARITY HCI-FPFS "Two years ago we heard that President Barack Obama had won the Nobel Peace Prize, but is he defending peace in the world now, or isn't he instead fomenting violence?" Obama ordered the bombing of Libya military targets as part of a U.N.-approved effort to protect civilians. "How is it possible to give the Nobel Peace Prize to someone who has launched an invasion, a bombing? It's a violation, an assault, an aggression." "Obama is the leader of group of thugs who led an assault and an invasion -- and that has nothing to do with defending human rights." By Bolivian President Evo Morales on the military attacks against Libya. Press Release 25 March, 2011. Subject: “UN-NATO INVASION OF LIBYA-USE OF VIOLENT MILITARY CAMPAIGN TO OVERTHROW GOVERNMENT IS UNACCEPTABLE”. The criminal invasion of Libya, by the UN-NATO forces of aggression is an extension of the holocaust tragedy in Iraq, namely mass destruction of innocent civilian lives and property; aerial bombardment, indiscriminate missile attacks on non-military targets, lies, deceptions and witch hunt to murder Muammar Qathafi; outlandish claims against the competent authorities in Tripoli, that are unfounded and unsubstantiated; and media misrepresentation, fabrication or otherwise falsification of information. The differences here are that, in Libya: 1. We see the unprecedented conspiracy of the United Nations to unleash genocide on a sovereign member-state of the world body, a mediaeval behavior contrary to UN Charter. 2. We see the office of the United Nations Secretary-General lending its unflinched support to terrorist al-qaida’s heinous campaign directed at killing blacks in Libya. 3. The armed terrorist group operating in Libya constitute of a group of white mercenaries recruited, trained, armed, funded and backed by the US, UK, France and Israel. 4. The so-called opposition in Libya is nothing but a criminal gang of US-CIA, UK-MI6/MI5, Israeli-MOSSADS and French intelligence operatives recruited in Egypt and Israel. The UN-NATO military campaign against the people of Libya is an emerging pattern of global terrorism; a spurious attempt to overthrow the Libyan government by force of arms; and plotting to murder Libyan leader, Muammar Qathafi, and these warn us of the dangers facing humanity. United Nations Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon continues to mislead international public opinion that the Libyan Government is attacking its own people. This is laughable, when in reality, it is clear that United Nations has backed the bloody campaign embarked upon by terrorist al-qaida and NATO against the people of Libya. The position of the African Union (AU) to resolve conflicts in Africa through peaceful means and without resorting to any external military invasion, or rebellion or violence is crystal clear and has been documented. The African Union (AU) condemns all forms of violence and rejects totally attempts to change government through force of arms. This just position is being supported and re-echoed by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who has invited former US President Jimmy Carter to help find a peaceful settlement to Libya’s internal crises. Millions of Africans on the continent and the diaspora have rallied their support behind the African Union, to condemn all acts of terrorism and those evils that threatened peace, stability, unity and development of Africa. The Hugo Chavez International Foundation for Peace, Friendship and Solidarity (HCI-FPFS) the primitive method, the violent military campaign and aggression being applied by the UN and NATO to solve Libya’s internal crises. We oppose strongly UN-NATO backed terrorist al-qaida violent campaign to overthrow the Government of Libya and murder Muammar Qathafi. In these moments, it is most urgent to call upon the United Nations, NATO and terrorist al-qaida to stop their genocidal campaign against the people of Libya; to respect the independent sovereignty and territorial integrity of Libya and Africa. We are deeply concerned that the military campaign currently embarked upon by UN and NATO against the people of Libya simply, is the manifestation of darkness and evil. We strongly and resoundingly condemn the action of the United Nations and NATO, for collaborating with terrorist al-qaida to destabilize Libya, and we question the legitimacy of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973 (another wicked and apartheid policy against Africa). Concluding, we appeal to the good and peace-loving people of Libya to nail themselves around their leaders and resist UN-NATO backed terrorist al-qaida genocide in North Africa. Sender: Alimamy Bakarr Sankoh President of the Hugo Chavez International Foundation for Peace, Friendship and Solidarity (HCI-FPFS) For and on behalf of the Hugo Chavez International Foundation for Peace, Friendship and Solidarity (HCI-FPFS) Furthermore, it is clear that the Mandate of Security Council Resolution 1973 is being violated to the extent that NATO is targeting and attacking the legitimate military forces of Libya on the ground, without and regards to the so-called “no-fly zone”. “No-fly zone” is not an authorization to attack tanks and human elements in the performance of their legitimate and sovereign duties to protect the integrity of the Libyan state and nation. Therefore, it is clear that NATO is in violation of international law, especially UN Resolution 1973. Sheik Abdurrahman T. L.
