I, Johanna Madira Chauke, educator and motivational speaker at Protem LSEN school, wishes to extend a word of appreciation for the opportunity your Department has afforded me previously to help rehabilitate parolees both at Moretele Park(05/03/11 and 12/03/11) and once at Mamelodi West Police Station in 2010. I was also invited by Ms Moloto as a speaker at Baviaanspoort during the Youth Day celebrations on 30/06/11 . I wish to continue offering my services to parolees and inmates on Saturdays before 12h00 and on Tues/Wed/Thurs during school holidays free of charge. I wish to acknowledge and applaud Mr Thomo Nkgadime for his commitment and selfless service in ensuring that as a stakeholder I am timeously informed and invited to events in which I can make a contribution eg. when stakeholders accompanied officials on rounds to parolees' homes in Eersterust. I also appreciate his support at Moretele Park(05/03/11) I would like to make the following requests if I am granted permission to continue: a) an officer be present with me during the session b) an attendance register of participants be stamped and signed by the officer present, c) to record my sessions for reflection purposes.
