My cellphone will be on continuously from tomorrow, Wednesday, September 14th. But, I am not the "leader" of this CPPNA. You are. What I propose to do is to form a collective leadership including both of us. And, Comrade Richard also seems to be very energetic with good leadership potential for CPPNA. The bottom-line is we must to follow the Handbook of Revolutionary Warfare to the letter. We are a guerilla army. As such, our face is that of a political party. Therefore, we must prepare ourselves to defend Africa from imperialist aggression and all forms of neo-colonialism thereby Uniting Africa under the CPP. Abd. Everything I proposed is exactly what you have proposed. The election of Samia as chairman of the CPP now gives us a higher person to market for raising funds. The Pan-African community must become our base for raising the required awareness and funds, but how we are going to do that, I will allow you to take the lead and I will strongly support. What I can do is to begin the preparation for getting her to come over here in the Summer of 2012. I support your plan to contact the student and Pan-African communities. But, I am hoping to help build close relationships with such groups as the USA Revolutioary Party and a few other small groups in North America. Other than that, we have to build from the ground up. I think the UK CPP model is a good example of what we can acheive here in North America. I mentioned earlier that things do not look good regarding Bob Brown and some of his associates. And, there are a few complete fools here in Saint Louis associated with the old guard of the AAPRP. Nevertheless, I am still very hopeful of a positive relationship with John Trimble at Howard U. That is about all I can count on in the USA. What I am planning to do is to approach the black college students like you said. But also, we need to go to the white colleges and identify African students there in various Black Stunet Unions, etc. Aside from that, I am hoping to develop my relationships with various parties in Africa, such as ZANU-PF, the Sierre Leone People's Democratic League, the Orange Democratic Movement, Pan African Youth Congress, the Green Belt Movement, the April 16 Movement, etc. These are the most consistently Pan-Africanists. So, my concern is to make sure that i work through the proper CPP structures to avoid too much duplication of efforts and to make sure that I am in harmony with the new Exeecutive's leadership. I know that Samia has voiced an intention to unite all the Nkrumahists parties. But, there are many fake Nkrmahists groups out there. They all have an interest and a desire to co-opt us and divert our energies into futile watses of time when we need to be about the work of laying the ground work for an immediate Unification of Africa. This is our big opportunity to reclaim Nkrumah's legacy. But, those fake Nkrumahists would like nothing better than to tie us down for the next 4-5 years so that they can come back to power in 2016. We see a new day and a new possibility. Distributing the flyers is a good idea.It will even be better if we can translate that into raising funds through the existing Pan-Africanist movements.CPPNA can become the organizer of a nationwide fundraiser. I have just been contacted by an organization that assists fundraisers to develop skills. They are called "Convio". Check their website: www.convio.com and let me know what you think if we can use them to teach us to raise funds. We need to get all Pan-African organizations here and in the Carrib involved by having a huge database of would-be donors and volunteers. We can start with recruiting students on historically black colleges to become the organizers of this new movement for economic and political change if we package her very well. What do you think? kb From: Abdurrahman Nelson <[email protected]> To: Kwasi Budu <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, September 11, 2011 5:18 PM Subject: CPPNA Comrade, The Congress has finally been held. Samia is offiically the new leader. How does this affect us in North America? Perhaps you know that I have been reaching out to some to some other groups seeking support as we gear up for 2012. But, it is still not cleaar to me exactly what if anything they can do. Other than that, I plan to start distributing the flyers I mentioned next week on all the college campuses in Metro Saint Louis. In addition, I think it will be helpful to develop a flyer that will seek financial help for the 2012 campaign. I think a strategy similar to what Obama did in 2008 would be very helpful to us when it comes to raising funds. Give me some feedback.
