Thanks to all for your good conduct and calm leading to the holding of the Special Congress.
The congress is now over. News were flashed into our shacks, Mkhukhus, rooms, garages, houses and villas that the old President is the New President. What a change! Whereas debates around constitution (right or wrong, legitimate or not) and court cases (imperialist or chaterist), are still going to plague us for some time to come, however the real issue is the after-math of the Butter-Worth Congress. We cannot afford to be seen further-on deepening the wedge between Butter-Worth attendees and not attendees. The motives of the attendees are as widespread, deep and diverse as those of not the attendees. Even if you would have all the time and energy of counting them and contrasting them, you would have achieved little in terms of real change, anticipated unity amongst the PAC members and supporters, and if achieved, would impact positively on the entire political terrain of our country. Currently the PAC is the one percent party and the detractors rejoice in reformulating the once power slogan "ONE SETTLER ONE BULLET" into ONE PERCENT, ONE SEAT, ONE LIFE PRESIDENT". The PAC will be lucky if it could retain its one percent during the forth coming national election. If it could, I predict; the die-hard supporters of the Butter-Worth Congress of the 14/15 July, would feel vindicated, as if the once huge giant of Africa, the PAC, was ever condemned to mediocrity. The Butter-Worth attendees have played their part. Well done Ma-afrika! However they are in dire need of support from all angles. Their sincerity and seriousness is still to be tested as to the way they will be communicating the outcome of the Butter-Worth Congress to all, thus enabling the implementation of their resolutions. The real political engagement is ahead of the Butter-Worth Congress, as it will be expected of them to exemplify leadership qualities by engaging all the PAC members and supporters, in particular the comrades who assisted in the drafting of the Mnqibisi Founding Affidavit versus Letlapa of 29th May 2012 in the Western Cape High Court. All members and supporters of the PAC must be vigilant, for they might be lured and wobble into the wrong direction, leading to the total destruction of the PAC.
