Fellow comrades I still maintain the view that high court path does not constitute a political solution for the PAC. We have joined PAC on the basis of its principles, ideology and what Pan Africanism envisages, not on the basis of any specific individuals nor a specific leader. Great leaders do and did inspire us about the correctness of principles and party ideology. The contrary being an unfortunate occurrence of a breed of leaders that represents political and ideological retrogression, such should not amount to any form of action upon us to abandon the internal party struggles to reclaim and place the party on a correct revolutionary path, particularly party members who understood and appreciated the political limitations of a comprador bourgeoisie including the petty bourgeoisie during the epoch of neo-colonialism. This is compounded by the very fact that almost all PAC Congresses and conference since the suspension of arm struggle never afforded the members adequate time to focus in ideo-political contextualisation and conceptualising the political and social developments in internationally, in the African continent including Azania thus formulating then necessary organisational interventions to engage the dominant mode of production. As PAC members we are where we are because of our own doing and failure to adhere to fundamental principles that governs any revolutionary party. When some party members left and formed APC and PAM some if not most said good riddance without making an effort to understand objectively as to what we might be doing wrong as members and structures! To date, the extremeness of wrong and incorrect conducts worsened by factionalism has made an assessment to determine a principled and objective arguments difficult. Activism has been replaced by armchair engagement and opportunism, revolutionary intelligentsia has been subsumed and confused with petty bourgeoisie chauvinism and patronage and bigotry. In this forum there are too much pretences that are despicable. Party leaders such as Sobukwe and many others are recited for subjective interests and worse factional interests.
In the past I argued that Cde Letlapa did not descend from nowhere nor from heaven, Cde Letlapa was campaigned for and supported by PAC members consciously and blindly. The support Cde Letlapa enjoyed continued during within the NEC post Qwaqwa congress. Deepened levels of factions interests (and conflicts) and depletion of organisational discipline including principles led to the precipitation and worsening of the misfortunes of the party. When Cde Letlapa presented the idea to introduce Presidential Decree, the NEC as a collective could have objected and challenged non-justification but such could not prevail because subjective and factional interests prevailed and some hoped to enjoy recognition and confidence of/from Cde Letlapa. Some component structures have become insignificance thus exists only within our own imaginations and on papers because these formations have become fiefdoms. We must denounce any form of warlordism and aristocratic behaviour. So let us not blame Cde Letlapa alone for misfortunes within the party as if we are sacrosanct comrades, we are not. Our fancy writing and English will not change anything as long as we continue with "Them and Us" Attitude or "Us against Them" attitudes worse of all most of these disagreements are not necessarily political and ideological! They are mere subjective and factional interests. We must exorcise within us the demon of wanting to become Presidents of NEC members simply because we tend to undermine and look down upon others as an additional problem whereat factionalists within our midst parasite. We are loosing nothing and we will loose nothing of we supress our individual egos, if we become active PAC members starting by making and building branches and regions including provincial structures that are vibrant. We must rebuild party structures using correct principles and functioning within the Ga-Matlala Constitution and Disciplinary Code, we must formulate and implement Plans of Actions that will bring ideo-political and organisational vibrancy of the PAC. Through our own collective efforts, we should ensure PAC wins the hearts and minds of the vast majority of the workers, unemployed, youth and students. Comrades leaders and Come and Go! However destructive leadership can liquidate and redefine the political purpose of party only if its cadreship choose to abandon ship, and this comrades have abandon ship but successfully and ineffectively point a finger. The inactive status of party members who may have resorted to other formations because they had been expelled after around 2006/7 but they are keen to return, it is understandable. We must swallow our pride and accept bitter reality that all of being part of the prevalent ideo-political amorphous state of the PAC, we must undertake the task to rebuild and position the PAC working within the branches of the PAC including component structures. With or without a high court ruling, the solution remains within active participation in structures of the PAC, three years it is nothing , Qwaqwa Congress came and it is gone. The damage done could have been rectified three years back but because we have completely lost sense of focus and most comrades have become ego-centred and subjective, three years became six if nor seven years and the likelihood for it to be another nine year until 2015 is very high. Such an additional misfortune like Fort Hare constitutional amendments can repeat itself again at any coming conference! Time demands upon seriously minded comrades to make sure that PAC should become outward orientated in its focus and approach, the amount of public protests keep increasing annually the PAC in the country are looking for an alternative. Many activists are desperately seeking for a political formation that can become a reliable vehicle to fight for change and social transformation, by being active in branches, regions and provincial structures we can give PAC a revolutionary image it deserve and we believe it should have in the meantime, and any form of a counter-revolutionary leadership can be acted upon including removed starting from the upcoming annual national conferences (2012, or 2013 or 2014) before the 2015 National Congress. Greetings Sons and Daughters Your point is noted with serious concern. Yes, the court ruling won't actually resolve our problem. We need to unify both camps and convene a urgent conference to strengthen our positions for the battles ahead of us. If Letlapa and his cronies win, we will have to fight him like Aids on its victim (we have to fight him within his system); and if win we, we have to try to unify both camps, consolidated gains both camps have and to galvanized the state of our branches which might have affected by this confused confusion. I am for United PAC and I will always Serve, Suffer and Sacrifice for the Total Liberation of our masses and I will always put PAC first before individuals. Izwe Lethu.
