Due to the PAC being visible in the area, there are no less than 12 branches in the area. The masses need the PAC more than ever before, this was proven amongst other things by the developments I Marikana. The Marikana leadership came to an event/rally hosted by the Tshwane PAC Region in their honour a few weeks back and they requested that we assist them in establishing a branch there. We support all initiatives that make the PAC visible, what is of utmost importance however is that the PAC needs structures. The West Rand was one of the strongest bases the PAC had in the country, with many leaders and APLA cadres from that area. It is equally sad that many APLA members, for different reasons, are let alone not PAC members and do not belong to party structures they have taken a back seat in terms of taking their responsibility as party cadres.
