Dear comrades. It is with great sadness to point out that there is a crusade to formulate parallel structures for all the component structures of PAC. Many of you know who the culprits are and we have been trying to use diplomatic means to warn them against danger of Parallel structures and Factionalism as early as 2003. However as we all know that they have no respect for the constitution of our mother body now they have gone to the extent of undermining constitutions of the component structures. The first victim of this crusade is now APLAMVA, the next will be PAYCO and I wonder if we will be ready for it when it comes.
In the western cape they have succesfuly undermined the constitution of the APLAMVA and formed a new Provincial structure which seeks to discredit all the former APLA cadres that served PAC with all their lives. They have gone as far as to elect a PEC that has no respect for history and the contribution that many members of the POQO and APLA contributed with all their lives. Before anything has to happen to our military wing and its security we need an intervention of all like-minded military veterans to look deeply at the need for a review of the sovereignty of the military wing from the NEC of the party. The Military wing should and must not be factional, should not be used to achieve factional gains or compromising the history of the organization.
