After months of political depression we are inspired by the political and organisational success brought by the PAC Branch of Thulamela Municipality confirms the position and view that focused political work based on organisational discipline in which party political work includes mainly PAC structures forming part of the daily struggles of communities and at industrial areas. The branches are the basic unit of the party, if we build politically vibrant and functional structures that are visible in daily struggles of communities and form part of the community lifeline, surely victory is certain. Branches and regional structures should focus their eyes and become active on all and any community and industrial areas issues, through members' and branch activism surely PAC branches and the party as whole can rise from the ashes. PAC members and branches should form part of workers protest in regards wages increases and improvement of working conditions, branches and regions should deploy PAC members to join workers protests and identify with workers in their daily struggles. As PAC members and branches we should strengthen workers' and communities fighting capacity and organisation around their immediate socio-economic demands. Slogans and songs without mass work and focused political mass agitation are meaningless. Again one can use the popular Christian source of information and guidance The Bible, the Scripture of James 2 verse 14 - 17 states that "What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, "Go in peace; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead". It is not enough and well of us to pride our-selves about being ideologically grounded and Pan Africanism as an indisputable vision to resolve Africa's problem but as members and structures' actions fail to show and inspire masses to follow the PAC. Our branches should have dedicated days in a month for community general meetings to deliberate with community members about community problems and envisaged solutions, it must be customary for every PAC branch and members to deliberate and report on community issues related to service delivery, effective teaching and learning in school, free access (non-exclusion) at schools- FET Colleges-Universities, access to food, employment, electricity, water, community safety, road conditions, sanitation, services in clinics and hospitals, expose and condemn those who sexually violate and harass women; PAC branches and members should take all issues and any community issues; branches and members should also visit industrial areas and workplaces to organise and agitate workers, branches, regions and members should fill the political space and create platforms for mass mobilisation and organisation including providing political-ideological education to the masses. Branches and members should form operative units of less than ten party members deployed to execute various political tasks as determined by the region and branch. Operative political units should focus in fulfilling the role to expand the party's political influence and growth within targeted communities, mass agitation and mobilisation, provide political education, membership recruitment; Wards should be categorised in the form of blocks/ section each having a unit deployed to serve and execute its political role as an operative political unit to expand and grow the party's influence in the community. James 3 says " 3 When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. 4 Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. 5 Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.". PAC branches and members should become that hidden rudder to steer the communities and the wider masses on a Pan Africanist agenda for total liberation and unification of Africa.
