Discussions and Resolution The last regional meeting was well attended by at least 11 branches, members and Branch Executive Committees must distribute information to as many branches you can reach, and each branch should be represented by Branch Executive Committees plus at least ten (10) members. Branches and members are encouraged to continue updating their annual subscriptions keep proves of payments, keep and update the branch membership register specifying the entire branch members and each members constitutional standing. Branches should also under Annual General meetings as required. And above all Branch Executive Committees should make sure that branches are actively involved in community socio-economic issues and lead in the resolution of community demands. As Johannesburg region with the 14 branches in Johannesburg region we have to work harder to achieve the existence of the 30 branches as identified each with a minimum membership of 100 and should be increased to 500 members per branch. Time is not on our side with 2014 national elections around the corner commonly held around the months of April - June, the prevalent socio-economic conditions in the country and particularly in Johannesburg demand the necessity for organisation based on our collective and unified action. PAC must rise and party branches are the necessary building block to achieve party unity and progress. One of the fundamental principles of a revolutionary party, for which the necessary condition for successful activity is organization, solidarity, and discipline, based on the principle of the common task of struggle for socialism and unification of Africa as part of its historic tasks. Party unity and progress rests on firm intraparty discipline, on the unconditional subordination of the minority to the majority, and on the binding nature for lower party organs of all decisions made by higher party organs, all of which are assured by the principle of democratic centralism. V. I. Lenin emphasized the inextricable link between organizational and ideological party unity. As early as 1900 he wrote that "in the first place it is necessary to work for solid ideological unity. . . . Second, we must work to achieve an organization"(Poln. sobr. soch., 5th ed., vol. 4, p. 357). The CPSU has preserved and maintained the Leninist tenet on party unity. "The inviolable law of life of the CPSU," states the Party Rules, "is ideological and organizational unity, the monolithic nature of its ranks, and the high level of conscious discipline of all Communists" (1971, p. 5). We urge PAC members to be United around the PAC since Unity of PAC Members is Supreme for Battles Ahead! #All African Wealth to the poor! Socialism and African Unity in our Lifetime! African proletariat to the front! Izwe lethu!# Izwe lethu!
