You shoudn't need the scripts to read the tree view. Starting with version 5 Easy CD Creater did some odd things with the tree views though. You may need to tab around all the fiels or tab away and shift tab back to the tree view for it to read sometimes.
Whether you use Easy CD Creater or Nero is a matter of personal preference. Both are quite useable. I prefer Easy CD Creater while others prefer Nero or CDWIN or others. There are some good tutorials on the JFWlite.com web site for both Easy CD Creater and Nero. Let us know if you have other questions. good luck.
