I have just begun using replay radio. I imagine that this question could be equally valid for total recorder, however. I have a dial up network. When a recording of a program is scheduled, the connection is made and recording runs as expected. When done, the program stops and the auto disconnect message comes up: disconnect now, stay connected, do not use autodisconnect unchecked. Somewhere there must be an option that says "disconnect without asking." There is a "hang up when finished" option in outlook express. Is there another way anyone has found for dealing with this situation? My dial up service would disconnect on its own after a period of time, but this seems a rather inelegant solution.
