[EMAIL PROTECTED] You should be able to get lots of help here and there are some scripts for jaws being developed as we speak to go with the existing ones that are available for window eyes. But to answer your question... 1 Open the file you want to copy from. 2 Start playing the file till you get to the area you want to begin your selection from and pause playback with F7 3 Press the [ Note this is the square left bracket key normally located under the p key or two keys to the left of the backslash. This drops the start marker. 4 Un pause playback and get to the point where you want to drop the finish marker and hit the ] key to place the finish marker. 5 Now just do a control x to cut or control c to copy to the clipboard. 6 Do a control p to paste in a new file You can adjust the positioning of the start and finish markers in the following way... 1 Shift and left or right arrows moves the marker either backwards or forwards 2 Control shift and the left and right arrows moves the finish markers. 3 Pressing the up and down arrows adjusts the amount that each marker is moved to hear just the selected area press shift and F4 . This only works if you have the yellow playback key set to play the selected area of the file. To do this do the following. Hit the F11 key to drop you in the control properties 2 You will land on the playback tab. Make sure the green key is set to play all and the yellow to play selected. You can also adjust the fast forward and rewind speeds here. 3 Tab to the okay button and your done. With the scripts you can have the start and finish markers read out and a whole lot more so I suggest you join the GW list.
