Hi Deon.

There's a couple of points here.  As you say you get the titles of the
tracks shown, you've obviously got CDEX to get the information from the CDDB
set already.

When you say that you only see titles, do you mean in the CDEX window before
ripping begins or do you mean in the resulting files following the rip?

CD's can be listed in the CDDB in varying ways so it may be that your
friend's CD was listted in the CDDB with artist and title in the track name
rather than just title as most CD's are listed.

However, if you're talking about the resulting file names you can configure
CDEX to create file names that contain artist, track number, track name,
year, etc.  It really depends on your personal preference.  I can provide
notes on how to do this if it's the resulting file names that you wish to
change.
