Hi Frank.

You say that your books which you have on your computer are now listed out
of the order in which you had them in prior to doing a system restore.

Am I right in thinking that you had your books in a sub directory of My
Documents? And that they are still there but not in the order you prefer?

>From the desk-top, you press the Windows Key and the letter E, this will run
Windows Explorer. Make your way through the tree-view of directories until
you come to My Documents or the directory in which you have stored your
books.

Once you are at the top of the list of files, in your case, your books, hold
down the Alt Key and press the letter V. Now arrow down until you hit
"Arrange Icons by". This will bring up a list of options These options
enable you to list your books either by Name Size Type or Modified. Play
about with any of these and see if you can get your list of books back in
the order in which you had them.

Please get in touch with me again if this is of no help, as someone else on
this list may understand your difficulty better than me. Good luck.

Best wishes.
