Hi, Marie, your windows sounds should be on your windows cd, just go to the control pannel, then to add remove programs, and the tab to the right of the install tab is windows setup, just go there, and windows will search for the installed components, then arrow down the list to multi-media, and if it says partially checked, then tab to the details button, and press the space bar, and in that list, you'll find the multi-media sound schemes.
