Windows Media Player will not play DVD's on it's own but uses the files with other DVD players to play them. Or that is, it is supposed to. It won't recognize my DVD program so it won't play them. Real Player 10 recognized the files and plays the dvd's just fine. they have a check box to play descriptive video if it is available on the dvd. I don't have one with this so don't nkow if this works or not.
