New Cricinfo Radio service launched

Cricinfo to webcast audio coverage of the Asia Cup

Cricinfo announced today that it will provide internet audio coverage of the
Asia Cup, which begins in Sri Lanka on Friday, July 16. A subscription to
the
new Cricinfo Radio service for this long-awaited tournament will cost just
US$4.99 (�2.60).

The match commentary on
www.cricinfo.com/radio,
which will be unofficial, will be led by the former BBC Test Match Special
commentator Ralph Dellor, and also features the renowned Pakistan
commentator
Shazad Humayan and the experienced cricket journalist Stephen Lamb. Farokh
Engineer, Sanjay Manjrekar and Ranjit Fernando will join the team to provide
expert analysis and comment .

All key matches will feature full ball-by-ball coverage, and there will be
previews and match reports as well as interviews and news from all games
played.

The product will be available both in Windows Media and Real Player formats,
and will be streamed by Speedera Networks Inc. of Santa Clara, USA.
