That is called Replace PCR but it does not work well with Window-Eyes, so I did not bother with it. I'm using the software that came with the pcr.
No need to go to channel 0 with the pcr. When you start it up for the very first time, the screen reader will read the i d code and you can write it down somewhere or record it. Once your radio is activated, whether youd do it online or call Listener Care by phone, you will never see the i d screen again.
