If I were to acquire a second sound device for my XP pro machine would it be possible to have the sound board function as my software synthesizer for JFW and configure the USB sound device as the default output source for Winamp and input for recordings? I am aware of the FS TSN describing how to route their software synthesizer to a specific board, but are most applications customizable in this area?
If so, how is it done? I only have one sound board, hence perhaps more would be visible to me in the XP control panel's "sounds and multimedia devices" dialog or Winamp 5.03's device settings if a second board were present? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!! Best regards.
