How do I tell winamp to use one of my sound cards or the other? If it's in the preferences tree view, I'm missing it. Thanks.

Firstly! ensure that your on-board sound device is enabled in the computers
CMOS, and its best if you're using Windows XP as it supports multiple sound
devices, when the computer is booted both sound devices should be detected
automatically by windows.

You can then select through the Sounds option in the Control Panel which
device your system will use for playback, recording and voice. Most
applications such as Sound Forge, Winamp etc will let you select which
devices they input from or output to.
