IN WHICH of the temperaments do you require the pitches and in which of the many international reference pitch would you like? if you wish to work out the pitch in equal temperament assuming a frequency of concert A as being 440hzs. multiply by the twelth root of 2 to go up a semitone, and devide by it to go down a semitone. the exact 12th root of 2 is: 1.05946309. rounding off the last 2 digits to 1 is not quite accurate, although most talking calculators can not speak the eighth decimal place, so round off, as described. hth. if i can be of any further help, i will be pleased to try. harry
