Hi George,
What I do is hit alt-f and I do get a file menu. Then I press i and am put in the compilation properties. I then use the mouse cursor to read this screen. Where Nero doesn't give you the amount of time, it does give you the amount of data, so you can judge from that info how close to getting full your cd is getting. Hope this helps. Good luck.

The Alt key brings up the System Menu.
