Hello PTusing, My new pc came also with the soundcard on the motherboard & Windows XP; while the Sound Max worked, I did not like it at all, mostly because of the very low volume it gave for the microphone. After trying various things, I bought a new Sound Blaster Live from Micro Center for $30 which pleased me all around, including greater volume with the mike. The Phone# for Micro Center is:
1-800-634-3478 The audio for music is fantastic & works well with Jaws & has multiple channels. Harry Bassler ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list.
