Hello List: I am new to this list..and have a problem with a program called "Total Recorder." It seems as I cannot get the program to record what I want it to record..which is basically things from the internet..or other things like MP3s..andsoforth. I use a screenreader called "Jaws" The version I'm using is an older version, 3.7u, to be exact..and am running Windows ME. As far as I can tell, I have everything checked as it should be. A friend of mine and I have been working on this problem for a few weeks now; when I first installed the program, it worked good..as long as I recorded manually. But if I tried to record something, using the "scheduler", that's where I began experiencing problems; I would get a "blank" file..even though..according to what I saw on the screen, it looked as though it had a signal. Since then, I (along with a friend of mine) have tried everything under the sun to get it working..to no avail..if anything, it only has made things worse! Since I still think of myself as somewhat of a noves to the computer, when replying to this post, I would apprecaite it if you could give your answers in simple terms. I apologize for this post..being a bit long. Look forward to your responses..and thanks for any help or info you can provide me ahead of time. Tom Kaufman
