A mild correction. I have a machine that I have run 98SE on with 640mb RAM installed and 98 had no problem seeing it. the question is whether or not his motherboard is set up to take 1024mb of ram. Doc Wright http://wrightplaceinc.net If we can't look at ourselves, and ask, why? then where does the learning start?

First off, Windows 98 can only address 128 megabytes of memory. Second, with hard drive prices as they are, you'll probably double your capacity from the 80-gigger you want to something more like 200 or even 250 gig if you spend some of the memory money on the new drive instead. _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
