Hi, Andy, in winamp 5.05, under the general preferences tab, in
preferences with control p, I believe, this is right at the end before
the tree-view, there's a check box that says something like show in
system tray, let me see, exactly what it is. The check box is before
some track bars, and it just says system tray, just uncheck this, how
ever, under file types, which is the first branch of the tree-view when
you arrow down, in earlier versions, there was an actual check box that
said enable winamp agent, and you just unchecked that. You can also do
this from the tree-view of the installer of winamp, as all items are
selected by default, and the winamp agent is the first one in that
tree-view, and this way, if you press the space bar to unselect the
winamp agent, it won't even be installed. Hope this helps.
