Hi!
I'm looking to purchase a new soundcard which will enable me make high quality recordings from an external source, say a digital sattelite receiver directly on to the hard drive of my computer. I also want to connect the PC to my hi-fi system, so would require a card which will deliver high quality output.
Going on there excellent reputation, I've been looking at the Delta range from M-audio, in particular the Audiophile 2496. Would this card satisfy my requirements in both respects? or would any of the others in the Delta range be a better alternative.
Would be most grateful for any opinions, as I'm fairly new to sound recording.
