I'm trying to find out about the new Adobe product which used to be CoolEdit, if I'm not mistaken, as well as Nero 6's editor. Otherwise the big two seem to be GoldWave and Sound Forge. Of these, Goldwave has the far better tech. support. Both products have very good lists where very knowlegable people will offer extensive help.

Subject: good sound editors

Hi guys,
I'm new to the list and was wondering what you all preferred as far as sound editors went? I use Fast Edit which does a decent job of editing wave files. Goldwave is more powerful in many aspects but, I don't care for the way that when you put your final editing mark down, you can't hear exactly where it lands. What do you all think?
Denny
