Hi Peter,
I can't say for sure about the USB transmitter, as to exactly what features
and functions it has.
I do not have a USB transmitter, I just have an FM transmitter connected to
my computer.
If you have 2 soundcards, whatever sound comes thru the soundcard that the
transmitter is connected to will be transmitted.
It seems to me, that if you have a USB transmitter connected to the
computer, any sound from the computer will be transmitted.
I was merely demonstrating to Shannon the possibilities of what can be
accomplished by using a transmitter.
Some transmitters come pre-tuned to a specific frequency, most others
however, can be tuned to one of usually 7 frequencies,
on either a low, or high range.
Frequency selection is usually handled thru the use of dp switches, or a
small tuning screw.
Some transmitters can be set to boost the output, but most of the ones sold
in the US, may not have this feature due to FCC regulations.
It would be best to compare several transmitters, looking for the features
of particular interest to you.
HTH,
Richard Justice
