Okay. What's the difference between the H120, the IHP120, and the H320?

just to let folks know who helped me with this one, i eventually went for an
iRiver h-120. had good reviews and seemed to be about as accessible as any
mp3 player can be. plus it had the ability to record.

Hi Kevin.

I don't have this exact model but I do have a creative jukebox 2. The
intuitive scroll wheel sounds like the wheel that's also on the side of
the
jukebox 2.

I must admit that I wouldn't like to use this wheel to do a lot of
navigation. Basically, it's a jog wheel that you can move up and down to
move through the menu selections and then press it in to select the option
you're looking for.

On the plus side for the creative players, there's a great piece of
software
called notmad explorer that will give you complete access to the player
when
it's connected to your computer. This software will allow you to easily
transfer music both to and from the creative MP3 player and it will allow
you to create playlists plus a few other very useful functions. This is
how
I tend to use mine most often. I create the playlist whilst the player is
connected to my computer and then take it away to enjoy while on the move.
You could create a number of playlists and be able to navigate them using
the scroll wheel but it can be a little hit and miss. Once you've started
playing the playlist, you can use the dedicated buttons on the front of
the
player to move to next or previous tracks in the playlist. You could do
this also if you were in an album to move from track to track if you are
not
in the playlist menu.

So, really, it depends on how you intend to use your player. If you're
using it in the same way, to create large playlists to listen to pretty
much
as you've created them when connected to your computer, you won't find it
too bad. However, if you were constantly wanting to browse through the
lists of artists, albums and tracks, it will be more of a challenge.

Regards.

Kevin

hi, has anyone used this mp3 player? i like the specs on it but haven't
managed to get my hands on one to have a look. the specs say it has
"intuitive scroll wheel navigation", this is the bit that concerns me re
accessibility, i have no useful sight! so any comments would be helpful,
especially from those who've used one of these players.
